Beliefs of the Republican Party

Republican beliefs refer to the views and opinions that govern the politics of the Republican party. The views of the Republican party are usually much more conservative than the views of the Democratic party. Republican beliefs tend to be based on Christian values and the existence of God. Republicans believe that all policy should be created and formulated around Christian morals. Many republican beliefs are created based on the argument that the American Constitution does not state anywhere that the church and state should remain separated. Therefore they support student initiated prayer and maintaining the use of the pledge of allegiance on a daily basis in schools. Republican beliefs focus on traditional American principles and aim to uphold consistency and stability. Republican beliefs are against same sex marriage. Republicans believe that marriage is a holy union and should only occur between one man and one woman. They are also against gay, lesbian and bisexual individuals serving in the military. Republican beliefs argue for a smaller federal government and more power returned to the state government. They also believe in the power of a free market economy and argue that a strong national defense is essential to the prosperity and survival of their country.

Republican views on abortion almost always land on the side of Pro-life. They believe that life begins at the moment of conception and that by destroying a fetus you are killing a human being. Abortion is murder. Republicans continuously support the idea of creating an amendment in the Constitution that would ban abortion. Republican views on the environment differ a great deal from that of democrats. Republicans would like to have a healthy environment, complete with clean air and less pollution. However, to date there has been no scientific proof that humans have had any affect on the environment nor that they can do anything to positively change the environment. Environmental changes and climatic changes have taken place throughout history and they will continue to do so. Environmental policies lead to job cuts and damage the economy. Republican views on gun control cite the Second Amendment of the American Constitution as the basis for the approval of gun ownership. The Second Amendment gives every individual the right to keep and bear arms, or to own a gun. You have the right to keep a gun as protection against criminals. Republican views on immigration are fervid and resolute. Republicans are absolutely opposed to illegal immigration and oppose amnesty programs for illegal immigrants. Immigration laws should be enforced and those who enter the country illegally should not be granted rights. On the issue of health care republican views are completely opposite. While democrats support health care reform in order to provide all American citizens with access to affordable and decent health care, republicans believe that privatized health care should remain in tact. People who can not afford to pay for health care will continue to receive free, low-quality health care while everyone who can afford it will pay for better health care. Otherwise all American citizens will be subject to inadequate care. Republicans believe that the institution of policies that support these beliefs is the only way to ensure that the country will prosper.
